The Arboretum is an edge of the ancient park that the Archduke Albert of Habsburg had created in the town of Arco around his villa in the late nineteenth century. Thanks to the mild climate created by Lake Garda, it hosts a rich vegetation of evergreen plants from hot climates.
Today there are 200 different species of trees and shrubs arranged on an area of approximately 1 hectare: North American conifers, and Southeast Asian and Mediterranean plants.
